Are you able to archive 100Mbps/sec at volumedrive ?

For those who have a dedicated server at VD, are you able to maintain 100Mbps upload speed or it's shared 100Mbps bandwidth with other servers on the same switch?

Looked on the TOS, but it didn't give any information.

    4. Bandwidth. VolumeDrive agrees that it shall maintain a 100Mbps connection to each server (from the server to the switch)***. However, VolumeDrive does not warrant any response rate or download time beyond it’s control, as this is depending on Customer’s and End Users ISP connections. We do NOT guaranty a set internet speed to your server.*** We do recommend, however, that you take advantage of our “speed and ping” test, prior to placing your order with VolumeDrive. If this test result does not meet your acceptable need(s)…please do not place your order with VolumeDrive.

Are you looking for a budget server, or do you already have one with them - and are querying the speed?
    I think it's shared.

Obviously it's a shared link. Their entire dedi price can't even cover wholesale bandwidth prices.

Well if you buy bandwidth in bulk ...

70 dollars for 100mbps is okay if you are using HE.

Cause it is 7000 dollars for 10 gig.

@OP they oversell bandwidth for sure.

    Hi Lonea:
You might want to try to ask them for a test server?
