Hi

I have purchased a LA server from them. Quite a well specd out box - Xeon E3 1230, 16G RAM...
The site says up to 1 week delivery time, it is now the 9th day emailed for an update 12 hours ago and have not heard a thing. Earlier in the week I had queried about lead time, Bejamin replies back saying that they cannot guarentee the delivery time.
I will update this thread as things progress.

Yes it is the longest Ive ever had to wait for a server.
I havent called because it is a toll call and I have never needed to call any other previous providers before as email responses were always quick.
I have servers with other providers and have never had to wait this long for servers/responses. 1 hour email response is all Ive ever had to wait.

Hi Tim,

I have to apologize for the delay, you should have received an email with the access details yesterday (Saturday). Supermicro had some unexpected issues with the delivery.

Do you have a ticket number so I can check on that?

The server at velia.net can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed.

www.velia.net works though. You'll probably want to fix your dns configuration.

yes there is dns configuration problem, and www.velia.net takes years to load at my end.

Yes thanks! I have finally recieved my server and am very pleased with it thus far. Latency is the best ive had compared with any other provider and throughput is decent also.

Anyone have experience with their Germany servers ? a review about the network will be helpful for many. thanks

We have rented two German servers from them with good experience. The servers have been allocated as requested, no hardware issues, no data transfer issues, they are ready to put a range of required operating systems and provide IPMI. We have recently prolonged the contract for the next month. Can only recommend them positively, absolutely no problems.
