Linux Cpanel Reseller Most Affordable One?

Dear Friends,

I wanted to ask a question about cpanel reseller account which
i am looking to buy (i have cpanel account with unlimited addons already).

In the past i used to have WHM reseller with a local hosting company but i got one issue with them i.e. whenever there is some
high server load from one of my clients' cpanel account, they will disable/lock my whole reseller account by disabling all other cpanel accounts of some very good clients who has not generated any server load or stuff like that....

Is it possible that one can buy a reseller account where host disable the individual cpanel account which is making the trouble
and not all of other cpanels in that reseller/whm?

If you can suggest few good reseller accounts which can take care
of above issue and also are cheaper one as our local currency is
already going down fast against dollar so every dollar saved is
90+ Rs saved in our currency , that will be great.

Looking forward to receive your suggestions.

Thanks,
Mohsin

I'm not sure if you are going to find what you are looking for.

If you purchase a reseller account and have all of your clients on one server (a VPS a would assume) sooner of later you will reach the limit on how many accounts will effectively run on the server and you need to either upgrade or get the offending client to adhere to his limits on usage.

All the parent company sees is that your server is "your" account reaching its limits. Either you are over selling or just have a client with a very popular site. You can't buy a $20 reseller account and expect to put an unlimited number of accounts on it.

You are obviously finding that unlimited does not exist there. It doesn't exist anywhere else either. there's no such thing.

It all depends on the level of communication that both (you and the provider) establish. If there is a issue which affect all clients on a server and we identify you (or one of your account) as culprit we try first to talk with you, so that the issue can worked out in the best way possibile. But if you (client) don't reply or don't collaborate we don't have no choice than suspend your account

Yes it is possible to buy a reseller where the host will disabled the cause not the reseller. The only reason I see to disable a reseller account is if the reseller is irresponsibly setting up accounts. Thats how I do it anyways. But if you get 1 or 2 bad customers who abuse here and there no reason to shutdown a reseller.

Thank you for your answers and advice.

Sure i am not looking to put unlimited domains on that reseller.
I just wanted to make sure that ..why not simply disable that cpanel
account instead of all cpanel accounts in that reseller?

Yes you are right about communication level...but i was not told about
the issue, i was just told that all accounts are locked, solve the issue
then we unlock...now that is very unfair for other clients.

Thanks i welcome any suggestions for reseller hosting companies
you are using which in your experience have given you chance to solve
the issue and do not lock all other accounts at that time..

Regards,
Mohsin

Thank you! This makes the sense. Yes all i wanted this!
No i did not have more than 20 cpanels accounts on that so called
unlimited domains account. Glad to know that there are options like
the above..i.e. shut the cause not the reseller!

I don't sell reseller accounts (it's a added headache I really don't want right now) but I think to a large extent its your responsibility to keep your users in line.

I do agree there should be some warning that there's a problem. However if one of your client accounts is causing major problems on the server drastic action may need to be taken.

There's also the question of how much access does the parent company have to your individual client accounts? Probably next to none unless they have passwords for all of your client accounts.

Yes it is the user responsibility to maintain their users but the reseller has no access to monitoring tools, logs, or anything on the backend. So the reseller doesn't really know whats going on besides reviewing their site and making sure it complies with the terms of service. Now I don't know about other control panel but I don't directadmin and cpanel will allow the host to suspend a single user on a reseller account. The only reason I would ever suspend the whole reseller if the reseller is operating in a bad business manner such as giving out free accounts with out verification (leads to lots of spammers), encouraging or allow illegal activity and so on. The host can always work with its resellers giving ideas and tips on keeping things under control.

I had a typo so here is the correction to the previous statement.
