axisnext out of business???
Since 3 days I am not able to reach axisnext. No response on tickets, emails, phones, skype.
The phone in India Kalkuta, where the company is registered is simply switched off.
If there are other customers of axisnext, please let a message here and discuss how we can save our VPS.
May be we take togheter over the dedicated servers of that company, which are from my infomation are located in leaseweb in germany...

Hello,
We provide unmanaged hosting, so we do not have access to our customers
servers, unfortunately, we cannot help you with this request.
Kind regards,

im also waiting to see this issue resolved. hell, id probably settle for a simple acknowledgement at this point. these guys may have had decent intentions but im afraid that's not enough.
as a patient paying customer i've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and all they've managed to do was bend me over at their own convenience
you dont have to be a criminal to rob somebody of their joy

That could be big headache when you "almost" lost your valuable data.
Make sure next time choose the right one.

My only suggestion is that we all send a mail to security@leaseweb.com explaining the case. Maybe leaseweb would take a look at this if several people wrote about it.

I have already tried before opening this topic.
They called me back and kindly apologized, that after long discussions they are not able to let anybody even know if the company still paying their bills due to German laws for data protection.
But if axisnext will not even pay bills anymore for his hosting at leaseweb, I hope they can do exception and take over the server due to unpaid bills.
But here only access to all our Data could be possible if we could convince them that data belong to us.

Sure every axisnext customer need to do that and if possible let also here a remark like
Quote:
I have VPS by axisnet with IPs
178.162.229.118 and 178.162.229.119
|
After having enough information we can start an action of saving VPS - due to disappearance of axisnext.
I guess there are about 100 VPS that Axisnext is hosting by Leaseweb and they possibly simply switched off the servers of axisnext due to unpaid bills...

Backup is not so much the problem, but possibility to simply recover VPS, if they still exist and simply switched off due to unpaid bills or bankruptcy of company.
All what one need to do is convince Leaseweb to takeover the service or switch on the dedicated servers on which out VPS are located if the problem is only unpaid bills.
I suggest them to say me the price for which they will be ready to reactivate for a week or two the servers of axisnext - but as I mentioned in previous post, they scare of data protecion laws, but hopefully will think a bit more about possible solution for this situation.
This is like a traveling with a cheap fly and after reaching airport finding out that you have a ticket, but company have no more flights, then you pay others, who own now the plains that can fly you to destination or at least travel with a car.

Leaseweb doesn't have to give out any data. They only need to switch on the vps'es and make sure that they are online.
Then people would be able to log in - which makes the owners (and only the owners) able to access their data.
Please let me know if leaseweb somehow comes up with a price (my last backup is several weeks old)
