    * Backorder at Name.com - NameJet Auction

    I Backordered a Domain at Name.com
    Now I see that Domain in the NameJet Auction with one bid.

    Is it Name.com that placed that bid for me at NameJet, or is this someone else bidding?
    Should I bid against this, or am I bidding against myself then?

    Usually if it shows one bid, that means that somebody has put in an offer on the domain name. This doesn't necessarily mean that there is a bidding war. Domain name resellers will put that someone "bid" on the site to induce competitive bidding thus driving the price up. I have never had success with a backordered domain name, but you might as well try, it may bring good stuff. Good luck

    I'd definitely place a defensive bid on NameJet for the domain.
