    Help Finding a good VPS

Hey guys im looking for something comperable to Virpus's "2048" Plan. Does anyone know a Good Stable host with specs around this?

    VM2048
    Disk Space 100 GB
    Guaranteed Ram 2048
    Burst 2560
    3 Ip's
    2 TB Bandwidth

And around 110 Bucks Every 6 months.

Reason im looking for a new host is Virpus has been kinda off lately. I waited 10 days for my Cpanel to be installed on my server and they guaranteed it would be done within 12 hours of ordering. And they didnt comp me for time lost on my billing period...

Remember im looking for Stable Hosts.

    Thanks Guys.

Is that a typo when you say $110 every 6 months? That's only $18/month...which is quite cheap for those specs!

Nope that is the correct price. The servers are good but their support and setup times for servers are terrible.

I'm sorry, but for that price you're going to face issues like you're having. If you double your budget, or lower your spec requirements then you have a much higher chance of finding a host to fit your needs.

I must agree, unless you go with a cheap unmanaged VPS provider and you will just have issues upon issues like I did back in the day when I started out. Spend the extra amount and get a good provider, that has good response times too not just servers.

What's the primary differences in managed vs unmanaged? I was under the impression its just levels of support.

managed is that you don't have to do the technical stuff on the vps and that the company does all the work for you. Unmanaged means that you manage the VPS

Well the technical side of things is not an issue for me is there another reason I would go managed?

Nope, managed is just that the company where you order the vps from does the technical work for you. Depending on the agreement you can also choose that only the company monitors your VPS and if something goes wrong that they get the vps back online.

then try with http://www.intovps.com/plans.html for 42/mo (252 for 6 months) with the specs you require i think you will be satisfied...try them for the 1st 7 days while you have the money back guarantee, you wont have nothing to loose and think you wont regret...

let me know later if you're satisfied...

I had bought cpanel with the plan and in their words they have to install cpanel even on my welcome email it said they install it within 12 hours. But it took them10 days and for that time my vps was in unuseable.

I've been using HostGator for quite a while now and have always had a great experience with them. Their technical support is awesome however I pay $80/month so that's a far cry from $18/month.

Virpus told me it was "unavoidable circumstances" which they never went into detail about they said it was out if their control and kept changing subject or forwardibgis the ticketplan when I asked. And why in gods name would I make this up?
