    Hello Biggymike.

Do you have any idea what type of usage region we are talking. What would you say is a high allocation of bandwidth?

What do you need 500 GB, 4 TB ?

A ball park number would be good to work with so we can match it up to some hosts for you

I wanted to start small $5-10 so not sure how much b/w that would bring me to.

$5 - 10 will probably get you 1TB with a host that probably does not want you to actually use it

Realistically for $5 - $10 assuming you yourself want to give a quality service, you will get around 256 - 512mb of ram and about 300 - 600 GB Of bandwidth.

The problem being is that a VPS with only 256 - 512mb of ram will degrade fairly quick with the amount of VPN users you could be handling, I would suggest looking for a provider who can offer 4TB for allot more than $5 but offers upgrading, so you can start on the bottom package and upgrade as your own client base grows but with a solid provider backing you up rather than a very cheap oversold service which is what you would get with anyone offering 4TB for $5, its just not possible in reality they will soon find a reason to get rid of you and your clients if you use that much bandwidth.

You aren't going to get 4tb for that price, not reliably any way - which a VPN needs to be.

Why opt for high bandwidth plan straight away? You should be looking at smaller plans and scaling accordingly with your business. There's no point if you aren't going to immediately use it.
