SemoWeb Warning
I run a VPS testing website and 8 days ago I signed-up with SemoWeb to test one of their VPS servers.
Yesterday SemoWeb have, without warning or prior notification, terminated the VPS that I was using for testing. In a vague termination email SemoWeb indicate that the VPS was terminated due to "fraud".
Strange, first time in 8 years that my credit card has failed a fraud check.
My gripe is that SemoWeb can obviously see from their systems that the VPS is in use, and rather than check with the customer first, they simply trash the VPS.
High priority log raised with their help-desk....2.5 hours later I’m still awaiting a reply as to why they’ve trashed the VPS. The adage that “you get what you pay for” holds true – I really have had $5 worth of service from them.
Don't host with these people unless you want to have your VPS summarily wiped, without warning, and your data lost.

Their billing may be closed at this time so I would give them a chance to answer later on. Have you tried maybe calling them to resolve the issue?

It may not be wiped. They simply could have prevent the VPS from being visible to you.

they will be back and will respond to your ticket !!
I host 2 vps with them and they are respectable people !!

Hello,
I can ensure you that we do not just terminate containers, if our billing department did terminate your account I am sure your payment was refunded by our processor prior to doing this and marked as fraud. Our billing team is aware that if any payments are disputed or marked as fraud to discontinue service immediately.
I would like to investigate this with your approval, can I have a ticket number (if one was created) and or PM your e-mail on file.
