    How do I backup my godaddy website? my hosting company rsitez won't give me ftp access

    You are hosting on Godady or rsitez?

    Genrate full Backup from Cpanel=>Home directory

    What kind of account do you have? They should give you access to make your own backups.

    If you add this after your domain name it should take you to Cpanel if it's on your account:
    /cpanel

    However, since that shares the main FTP password, if you don't have that you can't get in. If you were given a default email account and password, that one is also connected.

    Ah, so its a host/site builder in one.

    In that case OP, thats how they typically run. You pay to keep your website alive with them. Your paying for a website service package (hosting/website together).

    You are pretty much tied in if you want to keep your site.

    wget to a local directory, ftp it to a good host.
