PhotonVPS Blocks Port 80?
So i recently got a vps at Photon VPS. I got everything setup only problem im having is that i cant open there port 80. It won't let me run a website on xammp.
I tried contacting there support but they said they opened it on firewall but its still not working.
I read it could be IIS? ISS? or w.e lol
Anyone got any ideas ? Someone help me please.

can you execute these commands in either way:
# telnet EXTERNAL_IP 80
# telnet 127.0.0.1 80
and give us the output?SpiderVPS.com

As an idea, when you tell to somebody "i get an error" it's not very helpful. However, a print screen or the actual error will help...
In case you don't have "telnet" installed on windows, download putty and use it instead...SpiderVPS.com

if on both addresses, i would say that your webserver is not started.
If your VPS is managed, open a support ticket and ask them to fix it for you.
If it's not managed, find someone to manage it for you...
Good luck!SpiderVPS.com

Why do you think you cant open it from and to localhost? To be more clear.. 127.0.0.1 has nothing to do with internet, firewalls or blocked ports. To be even more clear.. it's not port/firewall/PhotonVPS it's you. So you have 2 choices now.. 1. Pay someone who actualy knows stuff to setup everything for you 2. Quit from hosting world and do something else for fun.. like sudoku

I think the first thing to verify is whether the web server is running and listening on port 80.
From the command line (on the server):
netstat -an | findstr :80
