We're looking for a US host for dedicated servers.

Requirements:
Intel E3-1230 (or equiv/better)
8GB DDR3
4x 500GB +SW RAID10
CentOS6 x64
5TB @ 100Mbps
SWIPed /27 IP
ACL drop UDP

Budget: $250/m

Made a list, but I'm sure there's some more great hosts out there that I haven't found yet.

HiVelocity - Network is OK, prices are OK, but sales (support too?) seems outsourced to India - big no. Not going to consider them.
Incero - Maybe. Can't SWIP though.
SoftLayer - Memory upgrades too expensive.
ReliableSite - Maybe. Not many reviews around though.
WANSecurity - Maybe. Looking at their IPs they host many replica sites though (DDOS?). Also HDD upgrades = EXPENSIVE.
TalentHouse / ionity - Maybe. Sales was easy to talk to and they have some great pricing. The top of my "to consider" list atm.
TailorMadeServers - Maybe. Some bad reviews though.
LimeStoneNetworks - Can't for personal reasons.
QuadraNet - No order system. Hosts 4chan (DDOS?).
LiquidWeb - Overpriced. Don't need managed.

Are there any hosts in the US that people can recommend?
(yes, I've looked through the "Offers" section. please don't post here with your signature saying "Look through the offers section" or ask something similar to "What are Ur Requirements ?" because I won't even consider you)

If TalentHouse is on your top "to consider" list then why not just go with them? From your list it seems that you have done a lot of homework.

Seems like a lot the of the host you have listed above do not meet your criteria.
Considering your budget, there are many many options.

you should speak to them, they are good at changing pricess

and www.domaingurus.com is their sister company, normally cheaper

Alec at TalentHouse is top notch, you won't make a mistake dealing with him. It will be hard to come by someone who can offer the same level of service they do at their prices.

In all seriousness we are always here to help.

I am surprised that Steadfast did not reply to your sales request on their live chat. We use the same chat software they do, and to be honest don't love it. We are looking to change to something else. It's possible that it was just a glitch that they couldn't reply to you.

We have a private transport tunnel to steadfast and run BGP with them (nothing in production, just for testing of some of our future growth plans). (Read this as we are a paying customer of theirs), and they have been great to deal with.

Sure I would hope that you would select us... I would give Steadfast a second shot before crossing them off your list.. They are really reasonable to deal with.

Good luck! I have a friend here who's been waiting for over a year.

Anyway, yeah, probably going to go with ionity when the E5s are in stock.
