HawkHost by far is a great company.
Their support is unmatched.
I had personal experience with Hawkhost and it was mostly positive.
One of the best hosts I've had.

Cortex has been taking real good care of me and my accounts on 2 of their locations. Support goes above and beyond what other companies do in my opinion.
I will be with them for a long time.James B.

If you have narrowed down to two, you can always signup with both to give them a try and see how things go, and cancel one of them before the 30 day money back period ends.

I doubt "Processor Cores: 4 CPUs" is for just you. That's probably the entire server, and you get equal share.
I generally don't suggest signing up with hosts you may not want, because refunds don't always work as desired, and it's hard to judge a host within 30-60 days (or less) anyway.
You get a little more space with Cortex, but I know Hawkhost, therefore I hate to vote in the Hawkhost column.|| Need a good host?

I signup with Cortex and they do not accept my order, without reason. They refunded my money. I contacted for reason and they do not reply ????

He got caught by overly aggressive fraud filter.
The issue has been corrected.
