Transfering websites form plesk to plesk

Hi,
I wish windows was as easy as linux servers (may be I havent used it much)!.

I need to transfer about 10 websites from another server running on windows OS with plesk to my server (with same config).

In cPanel, I would normally just generate a full backup and restore it. Can any one guide me how to do this in windows environment?

Plesk has a backup feature available to the server/VPS admin.

Generate plesk backup from plesk control panel and then download the backup file from plesk panel in server where you want to restore it, then create reseller or clienr or domain with same name and username as previous server and in backup section of destination plesk panel upload backup file downloaded (doing this in remote desktop of respective servers can save a lots of time)once uploaded just hit restore and see magic

ps: correct ip status in both servers and make it as similar as possible before taking backup and restore

Read the Plesk manual. It's all in there. Get it at parallels.com
