These a few days people sign up with fake email addresses. How to prevent it?

They are not user, probably the are BOT's. To prevent false client registrations,just dis-allow client registration without placing an order. This can be done in your admin panel at:
Setup >> General Settings >> (other tab)

If Matt can enable email verification in near future version, it will be more better and will control spam.

Doesn't a captcha server this purpose? Between the captcha & check box for TOS, I haven't had any. Knock on wood. Originally I had it set to not allow registration, but then affiliates can't sign up unless you manually enter them..
