I am looking for a host located in France/Germany.

OVH seems like a UK host. Am I wrong in this?

Hetzner does seem to be a german site, but no where is it mentioned that the hosting is based in Germany. I have sent a support request regarding this to them.

Update: Found out about ovh.de. Will try them out.

I recommend LeaseWeb for Germany & OVH for France.

I'm happy with www.hosteurope.de - powered from renewable energy and they have good cheap VPS packages.

If that were true you better had a failover solution ready when the water runs low.
