Can anyone recommend a good shared hosting company?

Hi, I got screwed over by justhost so I'm now looking for a good trustworthy hosting provider.

Money is not the #1 criteria. I want quality but at a fair price. If that price is $25 a month that's fine.

Can anyone recommend a good shared hosting provider?

I have heard good stuff about hostgator. Anyone has any experience with them? It looks good on the surface. Business plan $11.96/month.

Thank your for your time, appreciate it.

If I were you. I would take a look at the offers section. Find some hosts then do a search for them and look for bad reviews etc

I'd agree with each of those suggestions.

Geez there are like 5 threads about Justhost on the first page here,
Whats up with that?

To answer your question we had a great experience with HostGator, We were on the business plan and the support was great and up time was 100% while we were there.

XTremo and kpmedia:

Thanks for your input. I will check out these providers and likely choose one of them.

I agree ... I have a VPS at MDDHosting.com, and I'm recommending my customers being kicked, er, asked to move off my VPS consider Hawkhost.com and Stablehost.com as well (based on their reputation here).

BTW - in most shared hosting, the basic, lowest cost plan is on the same server as the more expensive plans. So if you don't need the extra disk space and bandwidth in the beginning, you can safely go with the smallest plan. And, upgrade in place if you outgrow it.
