This guys political carrier is death. He destroyed himself. I guess politicians will think twice now before accepting Hollywood bribes to impose laws vs the Internet, which means the whole world:

I was disappointed back when I found he started the nonsense. Not as disappointed as when I saw our High School made national news for the USA chant.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. These career politicians are so out of touch with reality. I miss the founding fathers view on government officials... serve your term (to serve your country), then go home and take your career back up...

    Hi,

Great digging. The blog is so lively.

Is Lamar still into launching another SOPA-like act?

Brilliant! You'd think he'd be a bit more careful wouldn't you? Is he going to suggest that he should do jail time for this now? That's what his previous opinions seem to suggest.

The other day I was alone in an elavator with Lamar Smith, you do not know how hard it was to keep my mouth shut.

I was going to floor 9 while he was going to 6. LS turned around to the mirror and started hand combing his hair. Once the door opened at floor 6 he continued to play with his hair, and continued to play with his hair.....

    funny as hell.

Another Good Ol Boy embarrassment for Texas. His local policies have been as inept as his national ones. His blunder into the Interweb was largely a product of his staff, hardly selected for their competence. Oops!

That's great. Nothing surprises me anymore from a politician.

Everyone is talking like he built the site. Probably some web designer put it there. Big deal as long Lamar takes it down when he found out, or even before the article was written: "So I took a look back at an archived, pre-SOPA version of his site....."

The problem with the people making our laws is; they do so with the belief that the laws they make do not apply to them.
