Domain Name Spy

Hi,

Just wondering if there are scripts / whatever that people can use to get Domain names that people are interested in?

I've looked up DN's I've been interested in that are available, and gone back 3 or 4 days later to find they've been taken. I've also noticed that if I get a .com DN, some days later the .net extension has been bought.

If I'm keen on a name I'll buy it straight off so it hasn't been a problem. But it just seems strange that's all. Can anyone shed some light on this or am I just imagining things?

Thanks

Actually it's GoDaddy where I have that problem. No problems when using other Registrars.

You can use DomainTools.com. It is a great site, which also provides additional information and I never had any problem with it.

Avoid checking domain availability with any of the registrars - is my view.
Don't know about any domain spying script, it would be interesting to see if anyone else is aware of any such script.

Cheers!

I don't think there anything like that. Even I, while registering my first domain did not notice that. Because after my first try, I left. And I finally bought the domain in second try.
