cPanel issue - all traffic shows up on host's IP

I need to see if there's a setting or work around for this.

I have a cPanel shared hosting server where all clients have a dedicated IP. The problem I have is that all connections to external servers show up on the server's primary IP. This means any clients who are running any PHP apps, etc the connections route through my primary IP instead of showing their dedicated IP.

Is there a setting to force the connections to use the client's assigned IPs?

Are you saying if you ping xyz.com it shows your main shared IP, instead of xyz.com's IP?
A useful tool in diagnosing DNS issues, is http://intodns.com

Also, check your /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf file.
Each vhost will have an IP address at the top of each vhost section.
Make sure the IP's match what the vhost should have.

Obviously, these should matchup, with what you have in Main >> Account Information >> List Accounts within the WHM

No this is for outbound connections, not inbound. cPanel does route all outbound connections via the server's primary IP. This means if a client is doing something they shouldn't be it cannot be tracked via IP as the complaint will show the primary IP instead of the client's assigned IP.

There should be a way to change this but it's not something cPanel will assist with or support.

Yes, unfortunately all outbound traffic will be through the main IP.
However, emails can be set to use the client's IP, within Main >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Editor.

there is nothing wrong with that, since all the outbound connections are through the server main IP.
