    This forum and IE9

I must constantly log back into the forum using IE9 to post, otherwise it says I don't have permission. Anybody else have this issue?

I use IE because all my PW are stored in Roboform and I refuse to upgrade for a fee as they promised free upgrades for life. Yes, the new version supports FF and Chrome - but it's not a new program. Show me the code and I'll show you a new program my ass.

Really? Have you tried using IE9 on other machines or trying it on a VM? Though, isn't IE9 still called 'beta?'

I thought IE9 was out of beta. I have not tried it on other machines. I guess I could try it on the wife's laptop. When I post most of the time, it's like I'm logged out after posting a message and can't post again until I log back in. Very strange.

It just did it again after posting that message. I try to post again after looking up top to see if I am still logged in and it shows me logged in. I get to type in the message box and hit submit but I get the message that I don't have permission, refresh the page, log in, and try again. When I refresh the page, I'm no longer logged in and have to log in to post.

Just to clarify on that, IE9 is out of beta and officially available since March 14 2011. Coming up IE10.

IE9 blows. I've seen it act erratically just moving between computers.
Other browsers are nowhere near as pissy. (Although Safari comes close.)

    Use something better.

Don't get me started. I had over 2 gigs of passwords in Roboform after using it for over 10 years. I finally gave up and imported everything into LastPass. I don't like LastPass anywhere's near how I loved Roboform. But, it imported everything fine and it does work.

OK - Back to the issue though ....

I'd suggest going on a cookie hunt and killing anything that looks like WHT. I can see a wonky cooky being the blame. Just try it and let us know if it fixes your issues.
