I put in an order with Jaguar PC on the 19th Dec for a Windows VPS service. I'm still waiting for them to tell me what is happening!!! After I threw a fit y'day I got their customer services to atleast send me an email saying it will definitely not be ready until next week. Unbelievable!!!!

Now, I'm stuck with godaddy (and don't even get me started on that one). And looking out desperately for a good alternatively managed VPS provider in the UK. Can anybody suggest any good ones please? I'm done waiting for Jaguar PC!

Which specifications are you looking for and what is your location preference?

EDIT: I mean with location preference, Datacenter preference.

Hi,
The VPS hosting I've purchased from jaguarpc has the following
100GB space, 5000GB bandwidth, 2048MB RAM, though I went for their double offer, so the above is effectively doubled!
In terms of location, UK if possible.

Ya, I would try looking else where, it does seem that they need an awful long time to bring a VPS online. It shouldn't ever take that long.

What they told me was that they were waiting for new windows server. Surely even that shouldn't be taking so long? It's been 12 days since I initially placed my order on the 16th Dec, though they only cleared it on the 19th Dec!
Perhaps I should ask jaguarPC to just refund my money now. I really do not see this being resolved anytime soon.

Support Level 1 2 and 3 is good but customer service is slow and this company i use not cPanel +Centos 64Bit it only 32bit i want to install it staff is say no template it ETA. now i tell staff to install on Centos 64Bit+cPanel don't use template i wait for answer.

19th? 9 days to provision a VPS? They may be getting a lot of orders with all the Christmas and New Years offer. But if they have a shortage of servers, they shouldn't be taking new orders. 9 days is a lot of time for a VPS, to be honest.

Tell me about it. Like I said I was looking to host my company site on this server. I heard such good things about JaguarPC and that is why I opted for them. But I've really been disappointed about their response to my order

I would suggest opening a ticket with the sales department and asking them politely. That if they cannot provision a server today, you would like a refund as it has already been 9 days since you ordered.

@wiredhosting, that is what I've been told by their sales team. And I appreciate what they are doing and that's one of the reasons I've gone with them. But waiting so long is ridiculous as well for a server. Especially when it is harming my company site!

well if you loose your cool, it may just make the matter worse. So better to be safe.. am sure they would refund you if they cannot provision a VPS soon. 9 days is too long to be acceptable.

JaguarPC is a great host, so it's a shame that they're having to deal with negative criticisms over stocking. It sounds like their sales plan backfired, and sold more than they were prepared for. Oops.

If you can wait, do so. If you need a server now, then there are other equally-good hosts to choose from. Just note that Jaguar has some low prices, so you'll probably being paying a bit more. EuroVPS and SolarVPS are two excellent Windows VPS hosts to look at.
