seeking 100 unique ips colo or dedicated

I am seeking 100 unique ip (not range) on either a dedicated machine or colo facility.
The ips will not be used for hacking but will be used for vpn.

Doubt you will find a provider willing to fill this request due to the overhead on getting that unique IP routed to you...

Seems strange that you mention that right off the bat, which leads me to believe that they are for hacking...most users would say they aren't for SEO Purposes...

    whats your budget ?

there are a few companies that can do this they are not cheap tho be prepared to pay $1-$3 per ip plus a server.

    Again not for hacking purpose.
Will be providing VPN services. Willing to sign a contract to that.
Regarding cost. I am ok with $1 per ip if I can start with 20 now and scale later

If it is for VPN, why can't they be from the same range...? I don't understand that

    Maybe can work with vps
Let me explain why I need multiple ips.
Will be providing VPN services to a third world country whose only ISP like to block subnets of people who sell their client VPN services. They way they monitor is by number of their client connecting to an ip.
Eg if they see 50 clients connecting to 2.2.2.2 they block 2.2.2.1 to 2.2.2.254 from
Almost everything but web browsing .

So the IPs you get are going to get blocked someplace?

In that case couldn't you set up your VPN on port 80? I doubt they are competent enough to tell the difference; when they actually think that web censorship can work lol

The plan is to let just a few customer connect to each ip and all on port 80.
Yes the ip might get blocked by a ISP.

OP might be right, its pretty common practice in middle eastern countries where residential ISP control the internet.

On second thoughts, port 443 might be more fun. They would be expecting encrypted traffic; only difference being that the VPN would use UDP instead of TCP. If you set the proto in openvpn to TCP instead of UDP, did it over port 443, they should be none the wiser.

I dont understand why people respond to these threads (I know, I'm getting suckered in right now). The question comes up every week, the people who ask are never intent on being genuinely helped, and never search, so why waste the time and effort?

The only worthy response here should be "use the search, and read the literally 100's of previous posts asking the same question".

Your going to have a hard time getting people to host you, IP's are an asset to a company, they therefore don't appreciate them been blacklisted.

My suggestion would be to get your own IP space.

If everyone just searches in old topics, this wouldn't be a public forum , it would just be a searchable article directly or an archive .

    I'm not suggesting that.

I'm suggesting that the people of WHT need not feel like they're a helpdesk, obligated to answer the same lazy subset of people, who come and take from the forums, and don't contribute by repeatedly asking the same question(s), receiving the same answer(s), and then leaving without ever contributing in any manner.

Given this exact question comes up on a weekly basis, this is a case for clicking the search button, plain and simple.

Well, the forum is here to help people. Someone could have told the OP to do a search though. If someone wants to respond and help the person, by all means do it. No sweat off your back.

Offtopic: Man I didn't know you still were even on here!
Ontopic: Censorship and getting around it is always cat and mouse. It doesn't matter if you have a million ips, they will get blocked/unblocked on a regular basis. Look at the tor folk for lots of reading on the subject.

Periodically, gotta keep up with things after all . I just dont post as much, as WHT has gotten to feel more like a helpdesk, opposed to good discussion amongst equals for quite some time. Ah well, what can you do?
