Server Down And the Next moment UP!.
Hello,
I just moved from Hybrid to Dedicated Server its Intel Xeon E1230 with 4GB Ram and 80GB Intel SSD (for mysql databases), CPanel/WHM.
Well the issue is the migration process was fluent i mean everything was restored properly but after that the real headache started I am facing the issue which is extremely frustrating me.
Well I am using 3rd party monitoring services, from yesterday I keep on receiving email that the server is down and right after minute or sometime few seconds 30-40secs another email arrives that the server is UP.
I will not blame the monitoring services because I myself noticed this issue 10s of times, i mean the page looks like taking ages to load and during that time I receive emails from monitoring sites that the server is down, which proofs that the issue was not related to my internet connection or any other thing.
I contacted my Server support but they are unable to resolve the issue.
Please suggest me what should I do it really is getting worse.
-Warm Regards.

How is the server uptime being monitored - ping or website check?

Maybe install something like munin so you can get a better idea of what is going on.
Is there any packet loss when the issues are occurring?

Here is the response from support:
I am seeing some packet loss there too. Im going to escalate this to the network engineers to see if they can get in touch with whoever they can. Usually this sort of thing sorts itself out but they will at least be able to get intouch.

It looks like a network/firewall related issue. When you receive the next down alert, please perform a traceroute to check if any network related issues persists.
