Hi,

ok, so im thinking of going from cpanel to kloxo simply because i dont wanna pay £10 a month for a control panel ill hardly use since i dont run a hosting business and its just for a few personal sites.

All i need is to move the mail across - i have one email account that i need the mail from and ive no clue how to move them!

Can anyone help?

The best way I know: Let's use Email Client Software (Thunderbird, ex) to backup all your POP3 email, then you change nameservers to new kloxo host and setup same account as old cpanel hosting. Finally, go to Email Client Software and try to recheck again.

i cant even get thunderbird to show me the emails to start with, i know its connected up but it just shows an empty folder?

If the new server has the same mail format, then you can just copy the mail folder itself (ie, /home/username/mail/....). If it's not using the same mail format, then it will be a little complicated to convert it. Either way, if you aren't familiar with doing this then ask your host and they should be able to help.
