When someone says the phrase "good times" what comes to mind? It could be that time you went to work on a stat holiday by mistake, or missed that barbecue becuase of the star-trek marathon, or woke up somewhere unfamiliar.
over the years we've all had experiences, some good, some bad, and some that can be looked back on and laughed at.
out of all these experiences there must be some that bring a smile and can only be summed up as "good times" what were they?
for me the event synonymous with good times was a few days before new years of 2002. I was at a ski resort with a bunch of friends. we were enjoying the hot tub after a long hard day of shredding the slopes. I was especially sore because, being the youngest, and considered the rookie of the group i was the butt of all their jokes: I was pushed into a tree well, had my boots filled with snow, had my bed made so matress turned upside down so the box spring was on top. (nothing like a hard bed to cheer you up when you stumble back from the club). and other such things.
we were all sitting in the hot tub smoking a bowl and listening to Pink Floyd's Echoes. I fell asleep and woke up about 30 mins later alone in the tub and totally green. someone had dumped about 20 packages of jell-o powder or kool-aid or both in the hot tub. got some funny looks the next day. I was green for about a week.
good times...

My friend says that a lot, sorta like good deal, just means (to me) another form of "great, good, cool, etc"
him: What did you do today?
me: Nothing watched tv.
him: Good times.

I'm premium, and no, I did not have to pay $6 a month to figure that out.
