    Email Distribution

    Hi Guys, need some help for this project. Can't decide which application to use. But this should be the setup.

    1. primary1@email.com
    2. primary2@email.com
    3. primary3@email.com

    All the primary emails are capable of receiving "external/internal" email messages. However, each primary addresses must distribute all the incoming messages to their sub-addresses.

    Example:

    1. primary1@email.com has...

    ---->subpri1@email.com
    ---->subpri2@email.com
    ---->subpri3@email.com

    Note: all the sub addresses are only capable of receiving "internal" email messages. Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance.

    You need to create a mailing list.
    It differs from panel to panel. I like how Plesk works best.

    What are you on? I can explain it in more detail. It's easy but non-obvious.
    (PM me a reminder, as I'm about to go offline for the night, and may forget to check back.)

    For example, email sales@
    and it goes to suzy@, john@, tim@, etc -- and then each of those people can use sales@ as their outbound address in webmail/pop3.

    It's transparent to the outside, if you wish it to be.

    hi kpmedia, thanks for giving me the idea about mailing list.
    i just tried this now and it works using Mailman from cPanel.

    however, i do not know how to setup that all sub-addresses will use the MAIN address when they reply, unless i configure there individual account of course.

    another thing, if i restrict the sub-addresses not to see the SENDER's email add. they can only reply to the admin address which i do not know how will the admin forward or release the message for the SENDER (kind a complicated).

    thanks again

    Must do this.

    if i restrict the sub-addresses not to see the SENDER's email add
    Don't.

    Easy enough.
