is it safe to run 'yum update -y' on openvz hardware node? How do you update your openvz hw nodes?

Download openvz.repo file and put it to your /etc/yum.repos.d/ repository. This can be achieved by the following commands, as root:

# cd /etc/yum.repos.d
# wget http://download.openvz.org/openvz.repo
# rpm --import http://download.openvz.org/RPM-GPG-Key-OpenVZ

be sure to bacup all your CT,s before u upgrade then yum then goto grub an be sure the stable kernal is being booted
