I'm asking because Googling has done me no good. Every host has problems and that's all I'm seeing. BBB ratings are similar. Price-wise they're about the same as well.

What other aspects of these 2 providers can I look at in order to make a decision?

We have been using SingleHop for couple of years and we have used too many other datacenters in the past, I can say that SingleHop is the best in term of uptime, support , hardware

I highly recommend them.

Are you serious? those are big and well known companies...

I have no personal experience with those companies and that's hard to say how good they are. But why have you concentrated on them only?
Maybe some other hosts will suit your needs more?

I had a SingleHop server for around a year, I had an excellent experience with them. their network is very good as well. I can't recall any downtime, support is very good with them too.
They do charge more then most providers of their size for a gigabit port upgrade.
Other then that, in my opinion you can't go wrong going with singlehop.
