I recently purchased a new server from Burst.Net. Very happy so far, though I am experiencing a crazy amount of brute force attack attempts.

This type of malicious attack is new to me, didn't occur on my last dedicated box in this volume, and I want to ensure I'm handling it correctly.

Anyone who can suggest security configurations or things I should do to secure the server would be ideal. I'd gladly go with a whitelist only, but I don't have a static IP, so I'm not sure how that would work ...
