I'm very new to the web hosting world, so I'm uncertain of the process of determining which web hosting company will best serve my needs. I'll describe my current hosting arrangement and service and if anyone can offer advice it would be appreciated.

I've been with 4goodhosting.com since September. I made a lot of inquiries regarding the service and they answered each of them quickly and encouraged me that they'd meet my needs.

I've been impressed with how easy it is to manage my account and there are plenty of tutorials available at their site. Within 30 minutes I had a firm understanding of what I needed to do. The site works well and there's no lag in receiving emails. There are tools for monitoring uptimes but I haven't used them yet. Has anyone here used them and are they effective and speedy?

All in all I'm happy with the service and performance, but I welcome anyone else's opinion about a reliable web hosting provider. Should I consider other providers – why?

If I understand correctly, your saying your happy with your provider but you want to consider moving?

I would suggest that if you are happy with who your with I'd stick to them.

What domain are you hosting with them?

I get the feeling that the OP, is looking for reviews of his current host, and possible information on hosts he/she could consider if they decide to move.

I have no knowledge of your current host, but if they are currently providing you with everything you need, then i wouldn't worry about moving.

If you come to the point where your current host isnt delivering, then come back, provide some detail, and the good folks at WHT, will point you in the right direction.
