    I second this. There is always a catch when purchasing domain names at such a cheap rate.

    Jee I wish isn't it $10.16 now... you would think "Logically" with the introduction of all those other services in the last few years that namecheaps pricing would of or even got cheaper as it was no longer there primary source of income.

    Namecheap is constantly raising there pricing with no real explanation just a vague icann increased pricing and we are going to pass on 200%

    I used to use NC two or three years ago.

    Moved to Name.com and Moniker for US and Gandi for non-US after the fourth price increase.

    If you look at all the Verisign price increases the last few years, we have NEVER added a single cent on top of it. If anything, we have sometimes eaten a little bit of the difference. Our original pricing from 2001 was $8.88 and without alot of the add-ons we throw in now.
