SSL Certificates and Domain Names
What's a recommended company to purchase a 1 year SSL certification from that won't break the bank?
Also, in terms of selling domains to customers, what's the best system/company to use that offers affordable rates?

GlobalSign's AlphaSSL is really nice and cheap.
Resell.biz has some nice rates on domains and an excellent reseller program.

Get a RapidSSL or PositiveSSL from CheapSSLs.com ($10/y or less) and a domain reseller account from NetEarthOne. NEO has great prices and support.

While we're on this topic...
I've seen lots of companies with cheap, or even free, SSL certificates - the first year. Which ones are also cheap on the renewals? For instance, GoDaddy has them cheap, but they charge an arm and a leg for the renewal...Your real IP address -- That proxy may not be as anonymous as you think! Now with IPv6 support!

Hey error10,
Thanks for the feedback. Usually there are coupons floating around so you can get the lowest price on renewal or new SSL
One thing I have noticed is some providers will tell you the lowest yearly cost (with multiple years of purchase) but you actually pay the full cost for the multiple years and don't get the same deal for one.
I am not saying it is a bad thing, just to make sure you all know what price you will be paying.

We use namecheap for domain registrations and SSL. Namecheap has an SSL module for whmcs as well as for domain registrations too.

Rapid SSL for $1.99 each
Your tip saved me plenty. I have a bunch of domains with Namecheap so I went on my control panel and I have 4 unactivated RapidSSL certificates sitting there. They charged me $7.98 to activate all 4 of them.
Also to the OP. my vote is definitely for NEO. Chris, Julie and and the crew are awesome to deal with go to reseller.neteartone.com - and don't forget to look for the easter eggLast edited by TechniSmart; 07-02-2012 at 10:57 PM. Reason: added NEO
