AdWords? Maybe find local Meetups and offer to sponsor them, it usually won't cost you very much and you'll get your name out there.

Yup my friend. The locals guys around you in your streets wont have this knowledge, try bit notices, affiliate with nearby grocery store. Surely it will give you more hope than spending money in the Adsense and in turn getting none.
