Someone really screwed up

The company I had my original colocated server with just sent my server back to me. The only problem is, they sent me the wrong server. The one they sent me was almost 3X better than my old machine

Can't the colo facility demand to get the server back? Can't they take legal action? I mean, what would you do if someone took your awesome server and gave it to someone, and you had to deal with a crappy server? Do the right thing.

Call them and ask where is your server. Meaning, just act like you didn't get anything back in mail

Does the 3x better server works.. Could be messed up

So you are calling us theives if we said don't send the server back??

If they sent him the wrong server, that company must learn from their mistakes. Out of anyone, a company, who is suspose to take time in everything before they do something do not suspose to make mistakes in sending out the wrong server to people.

If he calls and tell them he received the wrong server, ok, thats fine.

If he keeps it, ok, thats on him.

Personally, I'll do one of the 2, it all depends on the mood im in. But if you received a server thats 3x's better than your original one, 9/10 you will keep it.. Alot of people in this business would

Yeah, I agree. If they have not found it out yet...they must be unorganized and doomed to going under soon. I would call them and tell them and if they don't want to pay to have it shipped I would keep it until they paid me to ship it.

I never said anything about keeping it. I have already contacted the company, but they have not responded.
