Hi friends,
I want to move all my important domain names to namecheap. These are the best names I have had for about 5-7ys.
Can I trust these guys with these names?
I need your reply.
Thank you,
Okoji

We trusted registerfly and they dissapointed us. How are we sure namecheap will not do the same.
Both are enom resellers.

RegisterFly weren't an enom reseller when they collapsed. Allot of the domains that had problems were with Registerfly not enom at the time.

I've used Namecheap for a while now and haven't had any issues. Can someone explain the potential issues with enom reselling?

You can trust NameCheap. They are a reliable Registrar. They are an eNom Reseller, so if things did go wrong, your domains would go to eNom. They are already using eNom's DNS.

You missed it here. I had few names with registerfly and they were moved to enom, so they were with enom during their problem.
Cheers,
Okoji

My experience with them is good as well. I have domains registered at both Namecheap and Name. Still waiting on Namecheap to start using their ICANN accreditation.

I've never used them myself but I have heard good things about them. James Schramko talks about using them in his Freedom Ocean podcast and he sounds like he knows his stuff!
