You've been offering web hosting since November 2002, right?
How many employees, paid and volunteer do you have?
Money back guarantee?
I couldn't find your support page on dathorn.com can you please link to it?
That's all for now, thanks in advance

We've been offering our web hosting services online since November 2002. However, we have been providing web hosting and design services to companies local to the St. Louis area for nearly 4 years.
Two full-time employees, a third will begin next week sometime to provide further technical support. We do not offer any type of money back guarantee. Our trouble ticket system is integrated into the customer control panel, as you'll note the login form on our main page.██ Dathorn, Inc. - Premium cPanel/WHM Hosting since 2002! Check Out Our Blog!

I am interested. But..... 30GB bandwidth doesn't say much. Let's say I host 3 or 4 web pages at this account. I use 10GB of bandwidth. All my pages are 100% databasedriven (mySQL and PHP (a little Pearl) and contains vBulletin forums). Some pages have a lot of queries, and produces some CPU load. This will often cause my account to be terminated due to "monopolizing the server". And with no money back, I'll waist the money. This is in fact the reason I have to look for a new host - www.ikiwi.net terminated my last account.
Anything you can say to convince me you have an offer that suits my needs?

Sounds like you need you own server. 30GBs for $13.50 is pretty low pricing. Also quite a few resllers prohibit forums.

I get right under 1.000.000 hits a month in total. Since I try to keep everything small, that's around 6GB transfer.
In average, 10 - 20 people are browsing my pages at the same time, 24/7.

If it is per month and you only have 10-20 people browser your forums (what's the max?) then I don't see what the big deal is. That really isn't all that many people.██ Dathorn, Inc. - Premium cPanel/WHM Hosting since 2002! Check Out Our Blog!

how hard is it to move a forum (invision) over to a new account?
and how hard would it be to upgrade to a high package (later on down the road) ?

You can upgrade your account at any time. No problems, no setup fees, etc.
If the other server you on has cPanel we can transfer your accounts very easily.██ Dathorn, Inc. - Premium cPanel/WHM Hosting since 2002! Check Out Our Blog!

Another question about hosting forums.
I just started an InvisionBoard forum (forums.gottadeal.com) last weekend, so far we have 71 registered users, I'd say the average number of users online is 10.
Eventually I'm looking to expand our registered users to about 500 with a max of 50 at any given time. I could be really overshooting my needs but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Would your resellers package 2 be appropriate for this?
Thanks.

That shouldn't be a problem. Our other servers have succesfully handled a lot busier forums than that and they are no where near the specs of a Dual Xeon 2.0Ghz w/ SCSI drives. This server simply flies.

I'm guessing your $13.50 plan sells the most but how do the other plans rank in terms of popularity?

Yes the basic plan is by far the most popular as it more than handles most people's needs. The two middle plans are about the same while there are a limited number of people using the corporate plan since it kind of jumps up a little bit with a lot more resources, etc.

I'm a newbie at this so this next question may sound stupid.
Since your network is non-Nac, have you or any of your servers/customers been affected by the recent DDOS attacks which are affecting the NAC?

Only our one server with NAC was affected. Good old 3rd floor power outage among other things. Everything else has been running smoothly. You can check the uptime reports in our forums (forums.dathorn.com). Just posted last weeks reports earlier this morning.
