Hi,

i use Adaptec 2405 with raid 10,and install centos/cpanel,

i had install their script to manually monitor it by /root/cmdline/arcconf,

but if any way i can get daily status or more detail about the monitor ?

You can search WHT, I'm pretty sure you will find script to do that.

Or write your own script. It's simple.

I generally write a simple wrapper script that calls arcconf and looks for specific output / e-mails if there is an issue.

What exactly are you looking to do? What isn't arcconf able to provide you?

It might be worth noting you can setup e-mail stuff directly through the management software usually - we use a custom wrapper script because ours is setup to go to our upstream provider / facility technicians

1. i just hope when the raid or hd get any issue,i can first time know it and have enough time to take place.do you have any suggestion ?
