Also, what is the story with IP ranges, I want different IP range for 10 domains. Is IP ranges something I purchase separately?

Hi,
IP ranges are assigned to web hosts in a form of "ip blocks " so the upstream provider delegates a range of addresses to be used by the end user.

that said, in order to get different IP ranges , you will have to provide proper justification for the addresses.
I am not sure you are aware of the current situation, but the world has ran out of IPV4 space , and each host has it's own pool to be used.

You might be able to order several ip ranges , but that won't be cheap and must be justified.

why do you actually need for each site its own IP ? what's wrong with virtual hosting on the same IP ? , it would be cheaper for you, and basically does the same job.

I don't like my business sites on the same ip. Any Europe managed servers that someone can recommend, all the good ones seem unmanaged.

Sorry but your reason is Invalid for any IP block application.
it's nice that you dont *like* the sites on the same IP, but that is not a valid technical Justification.

I could PM you my full reason better as i have valid explanations but it isn't the main subject here. I wanted to know if IP is something I could purchase separately and add to my server which you have clarified is not possible.

I am still back to my main concern, What is a proper managed server in Europe that I can go with?

Hi,

You might want to get management seperately from your server. To be honest good support costs a lot. Don't be shy to get $60+ monthly support if you want good unmanaged.

Most companies do not have the required employees to offer fully managed.
But there are still some companies in the EU who offer support.

Here's a few questions that I have in mind...

1. Are you looking at any Control Panel to use?
2. IP can be purchased but justification needs to be there.
3. What type of management are you looking for?

Those are the few questions that I have running though my mind right now.

Yes Cpanel
I have always had usa managed servers mostly, if something is wrong I want 24 hour help with it so its back running asap. If i outsource someone to manage it, i don't see how that will be 24 hours.
Why do most EU servers come unmanaged while usa servers most companies off this?

I still don't know where to go here

If you need 10 IPs from same subnet it shouldn't be a problem, as long as you give a valid reason for each IP. 10 IPs from 10 different subnets is not going to work.

I am also looking for a decent EU datacenter/dedicated provider.

Looking for a Quad Xeon X3430, 32GB's of RAM, 1Gbit uplink port, any bandwidth over 1tb.

Does anyone know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a datacenter?
