Question

Change The Root Account Nameservers on a Dedicated?

Hi,

The main root account’s default nameserver is a domain that I want to have it's very own IP address and not shared with any other domain on the root account’s default nameservers.

I have another domain on the server that can replace the root account’s default nameservers.

Is it possible to change the the root account’s default nameservers via WHM without causing any issues with other sites on the server?

There shouldn't be any problems with changing the domains.
Give it a try and hope for the best or you could wait for somebody really experienced in this type of job to come along and post a reply.

Best of luck, OL
