Hello everyone I'm new to the forum.
I'm looking for a reseller host, Like Hostgator.

I would like 100% control over my site, my prices and accounts. But I would like my webhost to take care of billing and tech support for my customers. I just don't feel comfortable handling billing myself.

So I guess I'm asking for a mixture of hostgator and resellerspanel.
I realize I would probably have to pay alittle bit extra for the extra support/services.

Could anyone recommend a host?

I don't think you will be able to find a reseller web host who will take care of your billing. Check out the reseller section there are a couple of hosts who provide end user support.

Maybe you should look into like godaddy type reseller account. Hands free all you have to do is marketing.

We setup for a couple of customers this concept.
We do the end support at white label based.
If your customers send a mail.
We send it back with your mailadresses.
They to there billing at there own but with support from us.
It is possible but not every company do this.

What you are basically looking for is an affiliate situation vs a reseller situation. I am not sure if affiliates offer a recurring payment, but, I am sure some hosts would offer this

You need end user support but no one will handle your billing matters. Based on forum reviews, ezpz is providing white labeled support to its resellers customers. So, go with them.

Out of curiosity, if you don't want to handle anything about your company besides creating plans and setting prices, whats the point?

Check out Enom's Instant reseller Hosting plans they actually take care of everything, you can either go to Enom or purchase it from a Enom reseller. Good luck

What you are basically looking for is an affiliate situation vs a reseller situation.

I get the feeling that he wants to have his own hosting brand, and that's not doable with most affiliate/referral programs, unfortunately.

I believe that Resellerspanel and Godaddy are the two major competitors in this market, but neither are cPanel based for this sort of reseller program, and website design may be limited to several pre-built variants. Maybe they have an API, but I didn't look into that.

But I would like my webhost to take care of billing and tech support for my customers.

If you can handle the billing yourself, then there are a couple of reputable hosts that offer end-user tech support included with their reseller hosting packages.

Hey everyone there is a solution out there. I used this while my business was closed to the public, did not get many signups, but I was not pushing the business either.

The "free" program.

You set up as your own brand, set your prices and they collect and even provide the support to your customer.

The only draw back was I did not like that the customer had to pay a whole year.

Actually had my prevo.net domain point to prevohosting.com which they allow you to brand your on domain.

They took the payment, did the end support, you set your prices (after their minimums) and you can make the profit.

Like I said, did not get many sign up, but I did not push the business either.

I was looking into this a while back and I think most of them are quite expensive.
I checked godaddy and that was a couple hundreds a year as well (or more I can't really remember)
