So I was messing around on Photoshop, I don't usually design sites but what do you all think of this?

I think it looks good. I think the overall design would look much better with a different font that isn't hard to read. I do think that navigation bar should be thicker as well.


In case you weren't aware, there is already a company named swifthost so if you plan on selling it or using it, make sure you don't choose the same name as another host where you have direct name competition.

I'll look about editing the font, Someone did mention this on another forum as well.

I didn't know that, The site is just a mock up that I will sell once completed.

I was just bored and if I can make a few £ why not

Everything looks great except the top part for me. They look centered unlike the rest of your design. Your navigation bar look squished. It would look better if you could widen it as same as the body content or like the footer. Everything above the nav bar, like the logo, would be better if it is aligned to your content as well. There is like a lot of negative space on the left side of the Logo. I like the color combination. I also notice that you have a bunch of boxes and some round ones, it's better to just use one for uniformity's sake.
But for someone who doesn't usually design site, a really great job you did here

This design is perfect. Although there is always room for further improvement in the world of designing but your design looks OK.

Don't use black background. I hate it. Hardly any popular site use such themes.

That's the whole design.

If I was to sell this, this could be changed.

I will be adding more color schemes to the design.

Just make it something happier, try to stop with the black colors.

As above, the black is just the color scheme for the design I went for, However I will be changing the colors so if I was to sell it people can pick from what color they want

The font makes it look a bit dated to be honest.

Again some feedback would be nice



I have updated the following:

- Moved the logo to the left.
- Made the menu bigger and fits in with the footer size.
- Moved the news box at the top right hand corner.


To come:

- Font change.
- Color change for other versions.
- Contact form.
- Plans page

Font definitely needs change
Black background is rarely seen, most black background websites I've ran into normally don't stay up for a while

other than that, it looks pretty good

Very nice design! I like the layout and structure to it. Could do with some brighter colours just liven things up instead of been dark and gloom

I'm changing the font when I edit it some more.

The color will be changed like I said once iv'e completed the full design so you have a "choice" of colors.
