Two websites on the same VPS?
Hello guys, I was wondering how I can make two website (Like, example.com & example.org, that doesn't use the same files, eg one website has website related to game help, and another which will be a blog... Lets say, one website is WHT, and another is YouTube. Please tell me how, thanks.

Have you talked with Tech Support at your current provider? They should be able to point you in the right direction fairly easily and quickly.

Do you have any control panel on your VPS? Some documentation here would be useful for you.

Did you mean that you searched google about virtual hosting and nothing good is on there?
Based on this thread a) You are not ready for a VPS at all, b) hire a standalone management company or get a managed VPS, yet I still see you having issues, c) or go back to shared hosting.

BTW, very very few people on this forum are going to hold your hand and set it all up for you. That's what the 923029480248702847024702874082740810847208 pages on Google identifying STEP BY STEP tutorials are for.

Get a control panel like Cpanel or PLESK. The control panel will help in managing the websites easily.

Try virtualmin, its excellent. Once you load it, you can create unlimited sites on your vps, resources permitting of course.

If it's only 2 sites, you don't really need a control panel for that. You can edit the Apache configuration by hand. The magic Google search term is "apache virtual hosting examples".

Control panels are great, but anyone with an unmanaged VPS should learn how to set things up manually. Getting vhosts working in Apache can be a bit confusing at first for someone unfamiliar with the process, but it's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.
Some great resources for learning about setting up and maintaining an unmanaged VPS:
http://articles.slicehost.com (http://articles.slicehost.com/centos for CentOS 5.x info)
http://library.linode.com
Once you get things working, then I would recommend installing a control panel for routine maintenance after initial setup. I use Webmin, but I feel that Kloxo is a better choice for first-time users.

Another point is security. You can find a number of useful tutorials on setting up Apache/whatever for multiple virtual hosts, but please keep in mind that your VPS should also be free of known vulnerabilities and set up with security in mind.
This is what managed VPS hosting is for. If you have little experience in setting up and maintaining unmanaged VPS, I would strongly suggest consulting/hiring/whatever an expert in these areas.
Devastation of your server due to security problems is not a pleasant experience.

Might want to check our the LowEndScript. http://www.lowendbox.com/blog/wordpr...-lowendscript/
Perfect for small VPS's as the memory usage is small and you can easily add sites. Just replace the Wordpress files with your own files in /var/www/[server]██ Oscar Pan - Beyond All Knowledge - sales{a}beyondallknowledge.com
