    VPS with SSD HDD and dedicated cpu core

    Hello everybody,

    in behalf of a client of mine I am currently searching for a performant VPS Server in europe.

    Following Specs:

    -> 1 cpu core, fine if its dedicated just for my server
    -> 3GB RAM
    -> 15GB SSD
    -> 600GB traffic @ 100Mbps shared; 1Gbps will do also
    -> Linux, unmanaged

    Budget max. 50€ / month

    I got a few good offers from edis.at and vpsdeploy.com. Maybe anyone has a few other good hints for me?

    Greets,
    Tom

    Little Update:

    I just saw the hosting industry developed Virtual Dedicated Servers, maybe some older news but I havent heard about it. Seems to be suitable for me also, very interesting concept.

    So if anyone has a few good hints for me, dont hesitate to post =)

    I am not recommending or bashing them, as I have no experience with them. They're probably the only people close to what you want. (Ask if you can do the 1.5GB with 3 RAM upgrades, which comes out to a drop over your budget).

    @ThomasW, VPS vs VDS, it's the same thing, providers just like to interchange the name most of the time. Look at the specs and features offered, not the name.
    What did you expect was going to happen?

    Woops! They might have decent latency to Europe though... Sorry.

    Thanks for the mention! Indeed as dyna said, we only have a west coast USA location right now so if latency is a concern, I probably wouldn't recommend it for EU connectivity.
