Leaseweb, slow support and useless payment system?
Hello,
I was looking forward for the vps from Leaseweb since I managed to find some good reviews on then.(misstake nr 1)
I did the payment with paypal for a whole year(misstake nr2) and after a couple of days, the vps was up and running(without any windows updates, don't know if this is standard or not). Anyways, everything was fine until they sent a new invoice that stated that I should pay for 1 year again + some traffic generated for a couple of days.
I contacted them and told them that I paid for the whole year so I didn't know why they were charging me again. It took them a couple of days to answer that paypal had withdraw the money from them and that I should contact paypal and see what was wrong. I then pointed out that no money had been deposited on my account by paypal and that maybe they should contact paypal(I mean, not my fault that their system has something wrong with the payment)
Well, so I contacted paypal, who responded within hours and told me that the paymeny had gone through and that the seller(leaseweb) should have the money and be able to see this money in their "history".
I forwarded the paypal email to leaseweb and asked them to check their history again. That was a couple of days ago and haven't got an answer yet.
Leaseweb seems so far fraudulent, with slow support and a poor customer service... and I'm still missing my 230 euro and also got a new invoice from leaseweb for 244 euro
Anyone been on a similar situation?

No, I have not been in a similar situation and I've been using Leaseweb since 2007.
What you've got here is most likely an API issue whereby it didn't notify Leaseweb of the payment, and bear in mind, Leaseweb are a very large company so non-urgent issues can take a while to be resolved.
I also wish to add that they are by no means fradulent, you might have some success in resolving this issue by phone as they receive a huge amount of emails every day so some things can get overlooked at times, a quick nudge by phone and they're normally back on the case.Chris Imrie

I am sure it's simply a technical error, we can sort it out.
I'll be happy to assist if you PM a ticket number.
Apologies for the delay, with 40,000 dedicated servers online the administration team sometimes gets a bit overloaded especially at the end/beginning of the month.

Yes, could be a bug or something like that. But one could think that a big company would try to identify some problem or contact Paypal when I told them that no money had been return from PayPal. Especially after contacting PayPal and getting a verification that the payment had gone through.
I will pm as soon as I can.
Fraud may have been a bit harsh word, but if you're in my position a doubt you would feel different. I know I've paid the invoice, the company doesn't recognize that. They keep sending new invoices and don't answer my emails.

Or, instead of waiting to make three more posts, you could post your ticket number here. That number itself shouldn't be enough to reveal any sensitive information, assuming LeaseWeb responds by PM.
