Does anyone know how I can disable logwatch or stop it from sending me daily emails. I use a custom shell script to do a better job, so need to know how to stop it.

Hello,

You can remove soft link 0logwatch from /etc/cron.daily which is pointing to /usr/share/logwatch/scripts/logwatch.pl

Can you let me know if I wanted to re-enable it again, how would I do this?

You need to re-create the symbolic link:

ln -s  /usr/share/logwatch/scripts/logwatch.pl /etc/cron.daily/0logwatch
