VPS w/ RRAS <---> SonicWall
I need to stand up a new production server that will require resources (printers primarily) from our offices.
Has anyone ever configured Server 2008 w/ RRAS to establish a persistent tunnel with a SonicWall or other IPSEC device?
All the printers are network printers and map fine with RDP but because of the way RDS appends session ID's to the printer names and the way the printers are configured in the software this isn't going to work. We are going to have to add the printers to the VPS so they have static names.

We do this all of the time for our enterprise windows clients. Typically we use cisco hardware firewalls but you can certainly use the RRAS built in to Windows and get the same end result. We find mapped printers to be more reliable than redirected printers from rdp sessions anyway. Seems like you're on the right track!
Best,
Dave
