Unmetered Vps
Are there any more Vps providers that you know about that offers unmetered bandwidth?
The only one I currently know about is Rapidspeeds.

You can ask a provider for a special un-metered deal. Some providers will offer a shared un-metered port. That means that 20 VMs have a 100 Mbps connection, and you can each use what you get. I recommend dedicated, un-metered. How much bandwidth do you need? (5 Mbps, 10 Mbps?) What is your budget?

Well im thinking to use a Vps for backup, though its maybe better to look for a backup service?

A backup service will probably be the cheaper option, and less configuration because you don't have to setup the VPS.

There are many providers offering cheap unmetered VPSs.
E.g.
http://fdcservers.net/virtual_servers.php
http://www.interserver.net/vps/
http://rubyringtech.com/vps-solutions/linux-vps/You will only find out how good a provider is when the going gets tough

IMO the problem with these unmetered VPS is they are 10Mbps and it takes forever to backup @ 10Mbps with data transfer limited to inbout 3.3TB/month + outbound 3.3TB/month. Several providers (e.g. directspace.net) offers budget metered plans with lots of bw @ 1Gbps --> faster backups and faster recoveries. Also, if Europe is an option there are several providers offering bugdget VPS under 10 euros and the OVH cheap dedicated servers starting 15 euros.

You can get unmetered VPS, no problem, but your upload speed might be reduced slightly.Look out for Hosts that are chronically "Over selling" also.

If they offer you unmetered and prepay for a year - run as fast as you can!
45 days after a transaction and you can't really dispute a Paypal payment.
