I used site5 for about 6 months in 2002. They were great. Support was great. I like the pager thing, in which you page them and someone will e-mail you back fast.
I moved because they were not a windows host. I recommend them to anyone looking for a good Linux hosting provider.
I don't have anything negative to say about them. Always treated me nice, never had any major problems.
This was my experience.

Hello,
When i was finding some serious host some time ago i decided to go for Site5. I had some questions and their support was really fast and helpful. They replies were accurate and fast, not just phrases as i got from other hosts. I dont host a site with them, but had a chance to do with active account for one client and everything looked to work fine. Their site just look thrustworty to me. Most host companies just have alot of hype these days. They seem serious about what they are doing, at least to me.
As always search this board, when i did i think i haven't found bad word about them
Just my opinion, but i somehow like that company

I used them for Cpanel. They were quick and did real quality work.

I've been a Site5 customer for close to 2 years and have both shared and co-location accounts with them.
I can recommend Site5 without reservation. They are located in an excellent facility, have responsive staff, and when things do go wrong - and things happen no matter which host you have - they work well on my behalf to correct issues.
PS re stability - you did not mention what type of account you are looking for but I will assume shared and relate my experience there. Over the past year I don't think I have had to contact Site5 once to correct an issue. There have been issues of course - all hosts have them - but the point is that Site5 was on top of them before they became issues I needed to be concerned about.
My shared account services a significant revenue producing site, so I do care about uptime..
As far as dedicated / co-location, I can only speak to the latter but I am very pleased with the service levels.

I agree fully- site5 has BY FAR the best support team I have ever worked with. They are outstanding. I can't even begin to explain how far above and beyond the call of duty they have gone for me, and this is over the course of years with 3 separate sites that we developed. Tehy are consistently the best support in webhosting.

I used site5 for a couple months, and I would still be with them today if I had not used to work for CP.. I got my hosting from them for free since I was doing some tech support.
I had wonderful experiences with any of the Site5 techs, any of the TT's I sent were answered quickly, and with a personal flair, which I like.
Instead of something like "Hi there, We've fixed the problem" I always had a personalized response telling me what was going on and to contact them again if I had any more questions/concerns.
Uptime was wonderful the short time I was there, I don't think the server I was on (oberon) was down once. When I had first joined, they were under a DDoS attack, and transfer speeds were a bit slow, but that got cleared up quite quickly.
All in all, Site5 is a wonderful host I would never hesistate to recommend to anyone looking dor quality Linux based hosting. They provide a good service, with friendly knowlegeable people to back it up.

Hi.
My experience with them was horrible. Poor support, high prices bad speeds....
ONLY JOKING!!!
I've never personally been hosted with them but during my vast searches for hosts over the years their support response times and professionalism was excellent.
I've always heard good things about them.
