VPS for Europe - Asia
Guys,
I tried Godaddy.com, switched to 1-eurohosting.eu and had bad experiences. I am now targeting a reliable company for a VPS.
Requirements :
- low to mid requirements (256 Ram/ 25 Go disk space / 200 bandwidth)
- scalability (being able to upgrade/ downgrade package)
- servers located in europe or in asia or both
- budget around 40-50 usd a month,
I read for hours and fand yourwebhosting as a potential solution.
I would like to know if you guys, by your experience, can advise me any company ?
Thanks,
Ju

FutureHosting in the UK would suit you well. Check the VPS offers section.

Europe providers are easy enough to find, it's the Asian providers that are expensive.
BurstNet might be good for what you need. EuroVPS has great reviews, though I have no experience with them. I recommend finding the Asian (Singapore or India, I assume?) provider first.SiFuQi.net - Affordable Dedicated Servers in Los Angeles, California

Seems i will opt for Euro VPS in europe.
After reading for more than 20 hours reviews, it seems to have no bunch of negative experiences.

I am looking for providers for Europe and Asia also.
My suggestions is US west coast servers will balance your website's performance for visitors from both Euro and Asia.
Quickweb may be a choice, I have not tried though.

VPS and dedicated servers in Asia are mostly so expensive because bandwidth is so expensive in most Asian countries. If you can avoid it, go for Europe and the U.S. instead.

I'd personally second the West Coast USA suggestion for Asia connectivity.
You're more likely to get more bang for your buck that way, and you'd struggle to find better connectivity.
In that respect, BurstNET offer both Los Angeles, CA and Manchester, UK locations. I have/had services in both locations, and I'd happily recommend them.
If you must have a VPS in Asia, MountSpot have a promotion going these days for a VPS in India, you might want to check them out.
Good luck!

yourwebhoster.eu (NL) vmport.com (DE) and racksrv.com (UK) are all great performance hosting companies that have packages to fit your budget.
I would rather have 2 paper cups and a piece of string as my communications method than use godaddy█ -> INCEPTION HOSTING LIMITED Since 2010!

Thanks for your advice guys,
Last 2 weeks were rough as we tried 4 providers of VPS services :
Godaddy.com (39$)
1-eurohosting.com (8euros)
EcoVps.com (belongs to Eurovps.com) (19.95euros)
Linode.com (29$)
/per month
We encounter technical issues with the 3 first one and only the fourth one, Linode, delivered a great service. This cost us days of work as it is really difficult to find a good provider under 40$. You find online all kind of comments (good and bad) and rankings around VPS providers.
In our case we are a small startup so we needed basic configuration of 512 ram/ 50go disk space / 500m bandwitch / datacenter in europe and US/ being able to change package if needed.
I must say that we are only using Linode for 4 days but we have been impressed by the service they deliver. Not only the service, the dashboard is convenient. If you ever want to use them, you can use our referral link, we would appreciate a lot ! http://www.linode.com/?r=d9d39f5c93d...b4b2e46d679b2b
