    how with hypervm(openvz)?

    hello

    now I have only 70GB in hdd of node
    when I try creat a new vps (openvz) and limit the hard disk size with 100GB

    when log into ssh and do df -h the size appear 70GB not 100GB

    how can I fix that?

    Put a bigger disk in, df -h will never show more free space then the host node has.

    I know from some of friends they can make size appeare 2 Tb and the node disk is only 250GB

    any solution?

    yes I want when do df -h the size appeare 100GB as I put it in Disk Quota limit in hypervm not appeare the actual free space in hdd of node

    Sounds more like scam honestly.

    He's trying to allocate more space than they can get - period.

    If this ever becomes a trend you can say hello to the 'unlimited space' VPS market.

    I dont need put 100Gb of files in 70Gb

    I want to create vps on node have only 70GB free and when do df -h in vps apeare size is 100Gb of hard disk

    To the op:

    The available space and what openvz shows total are unrelated. Perhaps HyperVM calculates based on 1000MB vs 1024MB? Try 102400MB for the disk size.

    He's trying to allocate 100G on a 70G drive, you aren't going to lose 30G of space to formatting on such a small drive. The user has stated they have full intentions of overselling and just "buying more space when it runs out".

    Read the thread fully instead of just getting pissy.
